New Addition to the Family

Sneak peek at the lovely family I photographed this week.  Tori (6) was just a natural in front of the camera and really enjoyed being photographed and 8 week old Jackson didn't do so bad himself!  What a beautiful family!

Peyton aka little Cupid

Last night I again had the pleasure of photographing baby Peyton for his first Valentines Day.  I did his pictures as a newborn and now again at 4 months old, boy do babies grow up fast!  He's like a little angel... I'm sure his Mommy and Daddy would agree also!  Enjoy!

So...I say it often but I should not be allowed to photograph my own children.  They never cooperate with me.  I have all the patience in the world for other peoples kids...just not my own.  So here is my handsome lil man...aka GQ!  As you can tell he was not going to smile...not even for $$$.  But isn't he so handsome?! :)

Blued-eyed Xaden

Last night I had the pleasure of photographing a new client - little, blue-eyed Xaden.  I typically would say that children like me and that I usually can make them smile easily.  Xaden, however, was not cracking a smile for anything!  That little booger had me fake sneezing, singing songs, quacking like a duck, dropping stuff off my head, and still no smile!  I think he was just very intrigued by me which is quite flattering too!  Anyway, I still believe I captured some great shots of this handsome little man and just wanted to share a few with you! 

It's 2010 and I welcomed man's best friend into my studio!

It's 2010!!!  2009 was a great year for my photography business and I have lots in store for 2010.  I am truly enjoying this venture and am looking forward to seeing how much more it grows.  This blog is one of the new things I'm trying out in '10.  I look forward to sharing sneak peeks from my sessions with everyone and will also be offering some specials/discounts throughout the year!  Who doesn't like a good a discount?!  I know I do!  So bookmark my site and check back often!

My first session of the year was a indoor session and included a family of four and their two dogs!  This as you know was a challenge for me, mainly because I am not much of a dog lover, the two dogs however are very old and the family is not sure how much longer they will make it.  How could I tell them no?!  I must say the shoot went a lot better than I imagined, even after the precious dog decided to poop on my studio floor!  LOL!  No harm done...luckily we have stained concrete in my studio and my lovely husband cleaned it up!  - So enjoy my first post of 2010 and look forward to lots more!  Feel free to leave comments if you like!
